The Entry Series: A Look Inside My Songwriting Diary

The Entry Series is my way of opening the door to the parts of songwriting most people never get to see. Instead of sharing only polished, finished songs, this series highlights the early sparks—the demos, drafts, and ideas that once lived quietly on my hard drive.

Each entry is a moment in time. Some started as rough reference tracks, some were born out of late-night inspiration, and others were ideas I always wanted to finish but never did. With new tools and a fresh perspective, I’m bringing these ideas back to life and letting them breathe in their rawest form.

Every Entry includes:
• A simple visual marked with a Roman numeral
• A short backstory explaining where the idea came from
• A writing or creative scene showing the mood of that moment
• A demo or concept version of the track

My goal is to document the journey—not the perfection. These entries capture real emotions, old memories, experiments, and unfinished thoughts that still matter. Entry I served as the introduction. Entry II, “100 Miles,” flips the iconic “A Thousand Miles” moment from White Chicks into something personal and new.

As the series grows, it becomes a creative diary—an evolving archive of the songwriter I was, the artist I am, and the person I’m becoming. It’s a reminder that even unfinished ideas have a story worth telling.
